I know I will have to replace the transistor but would this be the only reason that the knocker is not working? Or could more damage have occurred because of the failed knocker coil? 107 on the left and right leg, indicating that the transistor is bad. I checked Transistor Q25 and I got a reading of. I did some more research and it is my understanding that the old knocker coil could have blown a transistor on the driver board. When I tested the new knocker it failed to fire. ![]() I received my parts yesterday and last night I replaced the old Knocker assembly with the new one. Thinking that replacing the Knocker coil and assembly would solve the problem I ordered the parts from The Pinball Resource. It turned out the Knocker Coil, which had locked and burnt up. ![]() So far I have only had to re-due a couple of solders to the wires that connect to the left flipper coil.Ībout three weeks ago I smelled something burning. I am new to the world of pinball and a month ago I purchased my first Pinball Machine, a Gottlieb Joker Poker.
